About the modification
It all began in the year 2005, when the famous Nightmare House map pack was published.
In the game, we took control over a guy, who got stuck in the middle of nowhere with his car. The only place he thought he could get help - was an abandoned house. The Nightmare House. From this point on, things only got worse.
Nightmare house became, arguably, the most successful horror-themed map pack in the HL2 FPS games genre.

And now, two years after the big success of Nightmare House, his rightful heir comes to power- the all new horrifying horror game - Nightmare House 2 (original name, eh?).
The first NH was a huge success in the gamer communities of HL2, but we got tons of complaints about the fact that the maps weren't built so good. Well, no-more. This time - we got it right. It's no longer "just" a map pack, but a total modification pack to the HL2 game, a fact which allows us to create a whole new horror experience for you gamers, using not only HL2, but CS too.

The NH2 storyline is somewhat a sequel to the first NH. This time, you will find yourself in an abandoned asylum, where your character, a perfectly normal, ordinary man, is enclosed in a padded cell, without even knowing how he got there. The cell-door suddenly unlocks, and you find yourselves all alone in the facility, searching for the way out... And the way?.. Well, the way is going to be more horrifying than ever before. After a couple of minutes, it will be hard to tell what's real and what's a dream.

Take control over the NH guy in a whole new NH game, with new riddles, new weapon and even environment designs, and finally- a brand new scary and "Ring"-like theme storyline.

The mod will use HL2 and CS:S content; therefore, you must have a legitimate Steam with them installed to play the game. The game will be free-of-charge, and will be available to download from any HL2 content site, once it'll be completed.
